Recently stayed at a charming hanok in Seoul for 2 nights. The location was perfect, close to Insadong, Ikseondong, palaces, and temples. The landlord and his wife were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, providing clear instructions and even taking us to the bus stop. The hanok itself was small and cozy, perfect for a peaceful stay. It had all the basic amenities and was well-heated. The breakfast provided was delicious and the owner was attentive to the needs of a solo traveler. I am totally happy with my choice and would definitely recommend this hotel.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The hanok itself was very charming and had a cozy atmosphere. It was a great experience to stay in a traditional style accommodation. The location was also convenient, being close to popular tourist sites and public transportation. the host was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.
That the sleeping mats were quite thin and not very comfortable. We had to ask for extra pillows to try and make up for it, but it still wasn't ideal.

Convenient location close to metro station and restaurants. Excellent traditional Korean breakfast with freshly prepared main dish. Friendly staff went the extra mile to help us. Cozy and quiet spot with WiFi and AC. Ideal for anyone wanting a traditional accommodation experience in Seoul.

We got great value for our money at Dajayon Hanok Stay - the room was spacious, clean, and had comfortable futon mattresses. The location was perfect, just a short walk from major sights and close to the subway. The staff treated us with kindness and were very helpful during our stay.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety or options.

Our stay at Dajayon Hanok Stay was absolutely fabulous! The highlight was definitely the breakfast - each morning we were treated to a delicious and different Korean-style meal. The room, although small, was comfortable and had underfloor heating which was a nice touch. The traditional Hanok setting added an interesting twist to our stay, making it not your regular hotel experience. The location was also great, with the metro station nearby and Insadong within walking distance. Exploring the little alleyways around the area was a fascinating experience.
